OUR HISTORY
Launched in May 2020, La French Tech Toronto is the premier French Tech community in Canada, and part of the global La French Tech startup movement, supported by the French Government. Focused on helping French tech companies establish themselves in Canada, we have built a thriving network from scratch to support their growth and success.
Our dedicated team of 25 volunteers has cultivated a robust network, including over 4,000 LinkedIn followers, to support French tech companies establishing themselves in Canada.

Our mission is to connect and support tech companies, entrepreneurs, and innovators, fostering collaboration between Canada and France.
As a volunteer-driven community, we bring together startups, investors, policymakers, and community builders to share expertise and build partnerships, strengthening innovation ecosystems and empowering global companies to shape the future.
In collaboration with Team France and our key partners, we work to deepen ties between the two countries, facilitating the expansion of French tech companies in Canada while driving innovation and cross-border opportunities.
